I dont plan on finding out if its a boy or girl when I can so everything will be gender neutral, people are excited and want to help me start shopping for things...Having the baby is so long from now, but should I take advantage of there desire to help and begin putting the nursery together?

i started to buy things around that time..and i didnt know the sex of the baby so i bought a wooden crib and all winnie the pooh stuff...and i bought this in november and found out in december we were having a boy and then i started to put it together..good luck and congrats..

Just my opinion but I don't feel you should until about 5 1/2 or 6 months so your chance of miscarriage is reduced dramastically. If you decorate the room now and something should God forbid happen to the baby, you'll feel bad everytime you walk by the room and you'll think about the what could have been's. If you feel that everything will be alright and you still decide to decorate the room then have at it. Having this baby isn't as long as you think because it'll fly by! You can go ahread and shop for the baby and everything if you want but I wouldn't suggest it just yet

Personally, I'm not going to decorate until I'm at least six months. Not to be a downer, but I want to make sure everything in the pregnancy is going okay...so that if something goes wrong I won't have this depressingly cute baby room all done up.

At 13 weeks your chance of miscarriage is reduced by 65% or something HUGE like that-- So, unless you have a history of late miscarriages, I'd go buy paint tonight!

i wouldnt. its a bit early. in case you change your mind why not just online shop and plan before actually purchasing. wait a few wks. the more you see the more ideas you have.
