my friend has parnoia and low self-esteame any ideas on how I can help?

pills are never the way to go. you encourage them, tell them everything that you would want to hear if you were in their situation. low self-esteame is not a disease that medication kills it is a state of mind that can be corrected with a few nice words, as of the paranoia show them nothing is wrong

For the low-self esteem I would build them up with compliments and tell them how awesome they are and that they are winners and can do anything. For the paranoia, I would show statistics and help prove to him/her that he/she will be fine. If that doesn't work you should set up an appointment with a psychiatrist.

This person really needs professional help. You should direct them to their doctor or if they have a therapist or psychiatrist. and as a friend you can go with them and support them through this difficult time in their lives.
