i just got my period this morning, and i always get horrible cramps when i have my period. i also get lazy and cranky!!! And...lucky me!! theres a HUGE dance coming up tonight and 8. is there any thing i can do to help myself fell a little better my tonight???

take some midol and take a hot bubble bath and lay back and soak the aches and pains for a while. Then follow up with a nice shower. Spray on your favorite perfume and go rub some lotion on and do your nails and hair. Eat a small snack with some carbs in it. take a nap if you have the time do your makeup and get dressed. Right before you leave take another midol and enjoy your self. The dancing will help relax the muscles and the getting out and having fun will take your mind off your period. Just remember to not drink alcohol and to stay safe . Have fun

Stay away from fried foods and caffeine all day and at least a couple of days before it starts if you can. It really makes a difference, I have severe cramps since I first started and your diet can make a difference. Drink some tea (caffeine free) Peppermint works best and just try to stay covered up like instead of sandals and a skirt try to wear shoes, socks and pant. That air makes you cramp up, if its warm you should be okay.

Best I can tell you is midol or pamprin... I would say really hot shower right before you go and leave a bit early.

i had the same cramps! i almost threw up they hurt so bad. take a medicine pill called ibuprofen it works really well, i didnt have pains for over 7 hours! try it.

Midol always works for me.
