In the WWE, he never won the title. He had a title shot against Triple H, but all other members of Evolution (yes, even Batista when he was a heel) kept interefering. And they called him "Mr. Monday Night, Mr. Thursday Night and Mr. Friday Night whichever show he was on at the time and RVD always just got screwed over all the time. And then later on back in ECW, Paul Heyman screwed him over as well.
So I kinda of feel bad for him. And since he agreed to put his Money in the Bank opportunity on the time which was a stupid thing to do, against the now heel Shelton Benjamin, Benjamin should've beat him.
It's like the WWE wants to hold him back and doesn't want him to be champion.

I watched RVD in ECW (the real ECW, not the crap ECW) and I liked his style. But one of the first things I learnt about him was that he smokes pot from time to time. This is not a secret in the wrestling world. He was ECW and WWE Champion, but the police caught him with weed. Of course, McMahon was absolutely shocked, he had no idea that RVD smokes pot (Yeah, this is IRONY!) and so, he suspended him and made him lose his Titles, because he takes his wellness policy serious (once more, IRONY!). He was mad at RVD because he was CAUGHT with weed, not because he smokes it, and so, RVD will never become WWE Champ again. His contract will expire in July, and I hope he will come to TNA. He has not extended his contract, so it is very probable that we will see him in TNA soon. I do not like that he smokes weed, don't get me wrong, but what I hate even more is McMahon's double standard and his hypocrisy.

RVD have won the WWW championship as well as the ECW championship but he was stripped from the title because he along with Sabu were caught with 18 grams of marijuana so the wwe put it in a storyline and say paul heyman suspended him for 30 days for no reason.

he was always an upper mid card wrestler both on raw and SD before getting drafted over to ecw
he was the first wrestler to win the money in the bank and has an oportunity to win again
so why r u feeling sorry for him, feel sorry for people like christian who waited for his oportunity to get a title shot for a long time and still waited till he got frustrated and left wwe or feel sorry for those who goto wwe tapings each week like all big stars and dont even get to be in a match
