Depends on the seller. I would absolutely trust a refurbished from Dell or HP. It should come with at least some kind of warranty, even if it's only 30, 60, or 90 days.

if you buy directly from the notebook manufacture than you will have some sort of warranty if its from a personal seller its a crap shoot. good luck
