1985 Chevy C10. 2wd 305v8 4bbl carb.
I was driving my truck today and everything was running fine for about an hour. When I came to a stoplight, when I was getting ready to dive off the truck sputtered and died out. Started it back up and it sputtered and slowly took off. It was really sputtering and jerking so I pulled over and sprayed the carbs with carb cleaner. When I took off it ran fine for about a mile then it started again. I did this over and over about 10 times trying to make it to autozone. If I go about 25-30mph it seems ok but the minute I give it gas it starts doing the same thing. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Put on a new fuel filter and have the fuel pump tested for pressure-may need a pump or go electric.

could be a carb problem, but it sounds like you have an intake leak
