Well, with Chivas NO!!! because they were superior than DC United. In the case of Pachuca, maybe. However, it's not over yet. Both teams still have to play the 2nd match at home, Mexico, and that's where both teams (or at least Chivas) are going to win.
What's embarrassing is the USA never making it far enough in all the World Cups.
PS. Don't hate because Mexico has a better league than the US.

As much as you love your mexican clubs, you fail to realize one thing- MLS is getting better. As demonstrated by the win and the draw against Pachuca and Chivas yesterday, they are no longer the runts of CONCACAF. The Mexican teams are still better, but they made a huge mistake in underestimating the MLS teams. It wouldn't surprise me if Pachuca can't climb the deficit to beat the Dynamo. Chivas and DC United will be a great matchup, hotly contested too, if all the yellows given out in the first leg is any indicator. I think that without some advantage, DC will not be able to stop the Chivas attack in Mexico. Chivas vs. Houston Dynamo in the finals is my pick. But hey! Middlesbrough beat Chelsea this season. Just goes to show that anything can happen in football.

Its not embarrassin for chivas because first of all the ref sucked. Chivas always plays better at home the team that should be embarrased is dc united cause last time this happened to them they tied the first game and lost 5-0 to pumas. This might happen to this again since chivas has beaten great teams in guadalajara. For example they beat boca 4-0 there. thats y its not embarrasing for chivas. The field is made to be play soccer on its too small in every part of the field it was always crowded thats why i considered this a boring game. so no it wasnt an embarrasing lost cause i know whats going to happen to dc united in mexico.

Well at least Chivas did not lose as bad as Pachuca. Chivas have a better chance at winning. They only have to score 1 goal, not like Pachuca who have to score 3 goals

Well really it is a bit of a dissapointment because in pachuca there are great players and the only ones that showed at all were andres chitiva and luis landin! The difference is that the usa has more speed and power which makes it hard 4 mexican teamz that are slow and less fast. take cuauhtemoc blanco coming and trying to dribble past ricardo clark! clark is fast and strong and cuauhtemoc cant do anything to him!
Chivas did good by tying in rfk stadium so that isnt bad!

man i hate MLS teams. They just both tied by luck. come on in the game of chivas vs. dc united they tied at the last minute. and in pachuca they made a goal of pure luck. the were both winning at first.
