I didn't say that I copy other people's answers, I just said that I look at what other people said.

I read all the answers first, sometimes the answer are humorous, out of context, I study the psychology of the questioner, and after getting the clue, do little trimming here and there and answer the question. Take your e.g. all you asked was a simple question but nicely placed for your enjoyment sake so that you can assess the reaction. Good for a change, lol.

I always read the other peoples' just to see if anyone feels the same way and to make sure i'm not saying what other people have already said a million times.

I usually look over the answers first cause if someone put what I was gonna say, I just give them a thumbs up and move on to the next question.

I usually read the other answers first. Then I see if there's any chance mine might be the best answer. I don't just answer for the points.

I like to give my own answer without sounding like someone else. So, after I answer with my own response, yes then I looked to see how others reply. If I can't be notice for my own feedback, then why should I answer the question?

Only when the questions is ambiguous. Also, when it is a question about facts (dates, names etc.) rather than opinions, I check if someone has given the answer I was going to give with a good reference source.
Otherwise, it's my unadulterated opinion.

I answer first. Most times there aren't any answers to look at when I'm answering as I'm often first up. If I don't have an answer to offer, I don't answer.

I try not to check answers, but I will look to see if every one is answering the same thing I don't want to be the 20th person to give the same answer.
