and will it answer or open the committee to seek answers for all of the lies? 9/11, Iraq, Haliburton, & Bectel and the Tri-lateral Commissions devious plots to convince the American public to become involved in a war for profit! At the expense of our most precious resource.........."our young people"?

This mornings Washington Post reported Sen. Leahy is demanding testimony and he is planning to supeona GW (I doubt if GW/Cheney ever face charges for their crimes against the US) He wants Rove and Harriet Meirs(?)))

Congress Demands Rove Testimony on Attorney Firings

Congressional committees are now demanding the testimony of President Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, in the burgeoning investigation into the reasons behind the unusual firings of eight U.S. attorneys last year.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who has helped lead the Senate Judiciary Committee's examination of the dismissals of the federal prosecutors, cited new reports connecting Rove to those who wanted to oust at least one of the U.S. attorneys.

"There's an emerging pattern that is extremely disturbing and everyday the sanctity of U.S. Attorneys as neutral enforcers of law without fear or favor is diminished," Schumer said. "We will get to bottom of this."

The House Judiciary Committee is also requesting testimony from Rove as well, but it's unclear whether either of the panels will actually subpoena his appearance before the

There are days when I think Carl Rove should be taken out and shot. The man is undoubtedly the most devious, dangerous thinker in Washington.

Unfortunately, given the speed at which our legal system moves, President Bush might be able to pardon both Rove and Cheney when he leaves office in 2 years.

These guys have put themselves above the law for too long. He should be made to testify just like anybody else. If he wants to claim certain "executive" privilege like Nixon's guys did, let him do that on the stand, in front of everyone.

"Made to testify" where?The 9/11 hearings are over and there aren't any others scheduled that I know of. Perhaps, we can start one just to make Karl Rove testify. Or maybe we can just get Congress to pass a bill that says Karl Rove is a big liar and hang him right now! You get the rope and I'll find a tree.
