ok so i am making a jeopardy game and need at least 5 questions and answers for causes of the cotton gin. idk what really caused it to be invented, cuz i mean it was pretty much invented so that the cotton could be made quicker, but isnt that it?? so im asking what caused the invention of the cotton gin?

well, y make it quicker? obvious: to make more money.
well, how? get it to market faster, don't require as much labor, produce and sell more, outperform the competition, and allow growers to concentrate more on quality.

the purpose of the cotton gin was to remove the sharp seeds from the cotton...it was done by hand and workers hands were always cut or sore and healing.
Only other reason I can think of for inventing anything is money...?
