Ironically, I loved them more in the 1988/89 season, when we were in the old Second Division. I attended every game bar a handful of midweek games at places like Plymouth and Shrewsbury that season and I was the ONLY fan of the club in my year at school, an inner London comprehensive.
The club? Chelsea. How times have changed. Back then, we were a football club, not a franchise.

I love soccer more than I love my club.

For this reason, I'd always love to see the likes of Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc... Be at their best so that the competition can be more interesting and not winning trophies because we didn't have strong challengers.

No wonder Arsenal can't even win anything since Chelsea is on fire. (the answer is, they didn't have a club to put them underpressure therefore the english competitions were all abouth both Arsenal and Man U)

Thanx!

qpr....you think watching qpr is bad?

us sunderland fans have suffered more than most down the years...look at last season....although....dont.

for once we actually have a board and manager in place with a bit of cash to spend, the fans are coming back, we are looking at promotion and we are getting media coverage at last.
yet we are all waiting for it to go wrong as it always does for us, but the fans will still be there, maybe down to the hardcore fans but they will turn up regardless.
easy to 'follow' man urd or arsenal.....the real love of football is seen down in the lower leagues, bigger clubs around them yet the loyal few thousand follow them whatever....they are the REAL football fans, support your local team come what may, that is the love of football.

I've had many fights with my dad cuz I tried to buy an original Chelsea jersey (here in Miami they are $65) my dad is not a soccer fan so he didn't approve me spending all my money in 1 shirt, but after many fights i came victorious (didn't tell him I was gonna buy the shirt)
I put Chelsea screesavers and he takes them away, so i put them back!!
My room is full of pictures of John Terry (and Harry Potter)
I have "blue is the color" and "blue day" in my iPod.
I'm saving to go to Los Angeles to see Chelsea play against Galaxy.

TRUE BLUE FOR LIFE!!!!

Not stupid at all. You've got priorities, same as us all.
Yours is Q.PR.
Fair play to you. I applaud your commitment. I'm a Stoke City fan myself. Mind you, if I cancelled a holiday, the 'mrs' would absolutely slaughter me!
Good luck to Rangers, and yourself.
