I had a c section Oct 2003 and the next Dec 2004. Sometimes when I am sitting a certain way or lying in bed, it feels a little sore. I get paranoid that the inside is ripping or didn't heal correctly. Does anyone know if it is normal to continue to feel soreness?

Yes, unfortunately for the rest of your life that sensation will be there. With C-sections they cut through thousands of nerves and damage them. So a numb feeling, a feeling of slight pain or just a weird you can't explain it feeling will be there forever.

I had a c-section in Feb 2005 and the area around my scar still feels numb. I also get weird twinges of pain in there, I asked my dr and she said it is nothing to worry about. My sister in law had a c-section 8 years ago and her scar still feels funny(not sure if she has pain though). Don't worry if something ripped you would be bleeding.

I also have had 2 c sections, my last one was 8 yrs ago and yes my scar is still sore sometimes. Its kinda weird and I dont know why it happens, but I also have a scar on my forehead that still hurts sometimes too. I wouldnt be too concerned about it!

I have had 3 and never had pain for that long, probably just scar tissue but wouldn't hurt to mention it next time you see your doc.

ive had 3 sections and iv'e never had that feeling before. i'd contact your doc to see if you can have some sort of xray or something to ease your mind. if you have ins, then all your hurting is your time.
