My wedding is coming up in 2 months. What kind of makeup can I apply to my forearms to hide scars resulting from a car accident I was in 3 years ago??? Thanks!

Try a really good foundation, then cover it with pressed powder. Also, at Walgreens you can buy scar cream. And if you apply it twice a day, it really improves it a lot, and it will be ALOT easier to cover once your wedding comes around.

The other posters are correct, Dermablend is your best bet ...
J.C. Penney's and a number of other department stores carry the product. You can buy it online (I posted the link below) quite easily, but it is better to go to a retailer so you can learn proper application and be matched properly for skin tone (sometimes the best match is achieved by blending 2 tones). ALSO, while you could simply purchase the foundation cream, I strongly recommend getting the setting powder too.
It will make the cream set and last MUCH longer.
Make sure you get the body cream, it is a little different than the face cream. Believe me, I was friends with the woman who ran the Dermablend counter when I was at Macy's, and I saw what that stuff can do! There was a gentleman with vitiligo (a pigment disorder) over his face and arms who came in regularly. He came in the first time and I watched how the cream made his arms look completely different! The large patches where his skin was affected just matched up perfectly to his natural skin tone.

There is a kit with everything which is around $30 and I know the body cream was about $20, setting powder was around the same price. Not cheap ... but worth it.
Applied correctly, the make up is practically invisible, all people will see is YOU.

HI there. Id love to help you and I hope what I tell you can help you. If you look at my picture can you tell i have any flaws? Underneath that makeup I have the most hideous DEEP scars from acne. It makes me look like a monster. I use a makeup called DERMABLEND. You buy the makeup (variety of shades) you can buy a dark and one light to mix together to find your shade, that's what I do.. then you buy the setting powered which is necessary to use after the makeup. Its very easy to apply, just apply on your face, use the setting powder and brush off. Its simply just wonderful. Just try it, i know you will love it. It covers anything from acne, scars, blemishes, pigmentation, birthmarks, even tattoos, and more. Give it try. Its not just makeup, its leg and body cover as well. :-)Good Luck!

Clinique Even Better makeup. It's especially make for people with uneven skin tones and past acne scarring. It also has Spf 15! A consultant csn custom fit which color is for you. I suggest that you finish the look with a blended face powder to set the foundation!

Sheer Cover. I have a BIG red birthmark on my face, I use the make up and it disappears. Most people don't know I have it. It is a mineral make up. It has a concealer, which is creamy, the foundation is powder that feels like silk (it gives great coverage when used together). It is like nothing you have tried before. It does not feel like you are wearing make up at all. And it does not come of on clothes (when you hug your man or when you wear your wedding dress) I swear by it. Leeza Gibbons created it and tons of stars use it, it's all the rage right now. Go to the websitewww.sheercover.com It"s very reasonably priced! Good luck!

what you need is something called Derma Blend. you can get it at Dillards, Macy's, etc. it's made specifically for covering severe scars on any part of the body. and it's water proof too. the sales person will work with you to get you a perfect match for your skin tone, and no one will be able to see it. I saw a demonstration of this product several years ago at Dillards, and it was amazing! so you need to go and check it out. I think you'll really be pleased with it. and it's not really expensive either.
Best Wishes and Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

try dermablend, or ask another department store brand like mac or bobbi brown, they might help you. it's best to invest in good quality makeup. it's more expensive, but it lasts longer and is guaranteed to match your skin since you can try it on, so it's worth the money. but i know dermablend is made specifically for covering up acne, scars, and other skin problems.

aw you can cover it up very well with foundation like if you have a makeup artist come to your house and do your makeup for your wedding you can ask her to cover it up really good. She will probally use a foundation and press powder.
