I am 37.5 weeks pregnant ... my hands get really shakey especially on the right side... I noticed it usually happens when im gettin a contraction ( even little ones that really dont hurt @ all ) or when i get nervous.. Another thing i think it could be is if the baby is on a nerve or something.. I just think its cause were so anxioussss!! but i would still ask your doctor about it..

Good luck and hopefully the baby comes soon and you wont have to be induced !!

Hey i answered ur question yesterday! but i jsut found this on a website..

Shivering or Trembling
Another of the early signs of labor is occurring is a shivering or trembling feeling that you might experience for no reason. This early sign of labor might happen without any sensation of cold or weakness, and can be the result of stress hormones or an alteration in the level of progesterone in your body. Shivering and trembling is yet another of the early signs of labor and that you'll be having a baby. i dont if its the same as what urs is.. jsut thought i would share it with you

It could possibly be low blood sugar, when I was in my early teens I had a problem with shaking in my hands and I knew it was because my blood sugar level and because I was not eating the right foods. Are they shaking uncontrollably? I had shaking uncontrollably in late 2nd trimester and it was because I was dehyrdrated, and drinking ALOT of water helped me. It could also be that your body is not used to being pregnant and is adjusting and preparing for a baby. If it gets worse please call your doctor.

Hormones more likely than not. Your body at 40 weeks pregnant is full of them. If you are truely concerned call up your doctor and inform him about it :) Good luck!

I was gonna say your blood sugar is low, but if you ate, probably not.
