My boyfriend smokes weed alot, and when we have sex he ejaculates in me. I heard it was harmful 2 the baby. I just wanted to know if anyone else knew anything about or could help.

Its not harmful for him to ejaculate in you if he is smoking weed, because (as gross as it is) your cervix is now "plugged" with mucus so nothing can get in or out until you go into labor. however it can be harmful to the baby if you are around when he is smoking and you inhale the chemicals

your bf smoking it is definitely not harmful, and according to all the scientific literature as well as the doctors who originally prescribed it to me when I was pregnant (being allergic to legal antinauseants and vomiting 30 - 50 times/day) say that smoking less than 3 grams a day ( which is a LOT) can not harm the foetus, if you look it up on the internet (as I did a lot), you will find the only sites saying anything bad about it are unscientific christian-based sites. My son is a very healthy, happy, extremely intelligent boy, who would not be here were it not for that wonderful drug. Anyone who tells you horror stories of stillborn or deformed babies are either seriously misinformed about the causes or outright lying - the best thing to do is research it yourself, it will give you peace of mind!

I don't think it could harm the fetus from ejaculate. But i know a girl that smoked weed during her entire pregnancy and the baby was stillborn. Also what kind of a father is a pothead going to make?

If you're already pregnant and you do not smoke it or are not around him when he smokes then the answer is NO. Marijuana cannot enter the uterus through his sperm. The cervix is closed, nothing can go in there. It can only affect the baby through the bloodstream (that is if you smoked it)....so try to stay away from him when he does and do not do it yourself. It might be bad if YOU smoked it, but I'm pretty sure that it won't hurt the baby if A) you're already pregnant and can't get pregnant more than once at a time... and B) it's him smoking it and not you.
It's not like his little sperm minnows are going to get the munchies and eat the fetus.

When I was pregnant with my oldest son I had a Doctor tell me he'd rather I smoke one joint a day than any cigarettes at all. But I don't think your boyfriends semen can penetrate the amniotic sac. So the baby should be fine.

It will affect his fertility, and don't let him smoke around you. Its not good for you or the baby.

That won't be an issue. If YOU Are smoking, you need to stop, now. What enters your bloodstream enters the baby's bloodstream.

His smoking pot shouldn't affect your baby, however, it is said men who smoke a lot are less fertile than those who don't smoke.
