I'm 12 years old and I was playing a basketball game. I was the only girl on the game. I was wide open, but no one passed to me...The boys(who are my age) didn't seem to know that I existed-even though they said it was o.k. to play with them. Why wont they pass or let me have the ball? They seem just to ignore me...like I'm not there...

I'm pretty good at sports(more than most girls I see.) And I don't like girly stuff. I still don't know why they ignore me.

Thats boys for you. They can be total retards when it comes to games and haveing girls join in. Boys do this to me all the time. I hate it. they think that girls will ruin the game for them. Whats funny is Im better then them at basketball and Ill leave if they dont pass me the ball during a game, the next game they will lose. lol

Boys tend to be finactics about sports, they barely let each other play! I grew up loving to play with them but I found that a lot of times they ignored me, I just kept trying to play along and adventually they accepted me in- Keep your head up! Practice so when you do get the ball you can show them up! :)

This used to happen to me alot. What i did was i went out there and as best as i could and now that show that even though i'm a girl i'm good.

believe me its always going to happen, to them you are just a "sissy girl" and dont have the skill to play with them, you need to get in there and be aggressive and show them that you can do it
