So Ive been w/ this chick for about a year, and I love this girl. She just found out that her mom has heart disease, which I didnt think was a huge deal; but she makes it sound like her moms like dieing. I dont know if its really serious or not, but shes taking like that.

I kept telling her everything would work out, it would be fine, all of that kind stuff trying to make her feel better but it doesnt really do anything. Shes like depressed about this, what can I tell her?

Just be there for her, support her, and show that you love her. It may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is for your girlfriend. Try to imagine if it was your mom, and how you would feel and how you would like your girlfriend to treat you....do the same.

Being suppotive to your girlfriend is the best thing that you can do for her. Heart disease in any form is life threating and since it is her Mom, it should be a concern for your girlfriend.

She may be visualizing her mom passing away, and if she is close to her mom, then that will no doubt way heavy on her. Keep reassuring her everything will be ok, but don't take her feeling to lightly on this.

Just be there for her, because to tell you the truth there is not much u can do. She will need someone she can trust and someone she can go and cry to. Just keep doing what you are doing and see what happens.
