It's funny you mention this because I was thinking about this only yesterday. As you also mentioned I marvel at this weird sensation. I think that deja vu happens because when a person lives his/her life in routine the brain reckons with this as it is always recalling to survive as one experiences certain event's, day's.

I don't really know what to think about it but I do also find it amazing and sometimes thrilling like I'm in a time warp reliving occurrences over and over, well at least once before and it happens all the time which kind of makes me wonder if its not just my imagination. Enjoy your deja vu experiences and have a good day.

I get deja vu all the time. It used to be just a few seconds but it's getting longer and longer each time. I think the last time was about 5 minutes when I was having a converstaion with my step daughter about her party that is coming and I could predict, word for word, what she would say before she opened her mouth. Obviously I know her very well but I even knew whot tone she would use and what lilt and all her actions, like flicking her hair and scratching etc.

My own personal beliefs on deja vu are positive. I totally believe in it. I experienced it at the age of 12. Of course back then I had no idea why it happened. But I was not scared.
I feel many of us have had past lives and have encountered the same places, people and situations. I have only had deja vu happen once. But I am a total believer.

Yes, amazing. I have had dreams about places and then seen them afterwards, even though i've never been there before - so now i am wondering if this is how deja vu works, because most people dont remember all their dreams.

Hey, haven't you asked that question before? ;)
Seriously, though, the human brain can make associations very quickly, though not always correctly. I believe that the brain tries to associate any circumstance we encounter with a previous experience to allow us to deal with it effectively. If you faced a similar situation in the past, you might get an idea as to how to deal with a new one.
It doesn't happen to me often, but when it does, it feels weird!

Without doubt, one of the finest albums of the early 70s. Although "Crosby Stills & Nash" is a classic album, the addition of Neil Young gave a gravitas to the bad that was full realised on their debut
