How can I make 50s clothes w/o sewing them by hand?

I don't wanna buy them off of the internet. I have this thign that i use for a belt that alternates from shiny to chiffon that i think i can tie around my neck and have it be 50's-ish. but poodle skirts are so expensive i wonder what i could use for a poodle skirt

You need to start shopping the thrift stores. You'll be amazed what you can find. I ran into a lot of one hundred dresses that were handmade by a lady in the 50s, my wife and I broke up the lot and sold them individually. There's a lot of cool stuff out there.
