I swear. Everytime I try to get into a discussion it disintegrates into one big 5th grade name calling event. Please, either contribute something intelligent or go to a different area, like dundgeons and dragons.. GROW UP.

See, it didn't take but 1 answer to fire up the You are, no you are machine. I know there are people over 18 on this site, I'm conservative but I want to hear what my liberal counterparts are thinking. I hope they feel the same way. This is OUR country, and we all have a stake in it's future. I respect all opinions until they start calling names and actng like jackasses.

We can take this forum over. Report the haters. Lets get them out of here and have a forum where we can debate on at least a high school level. You guys seem to agree with me...lets take this back, NOW.

Actually, this isn't a label thing. It's a human thing. I know very few people who can have political debates without taking them personally. It's sad.

That's why I teach argument to college students. I teach them how to separate the emotion from the argument. I can't say I always succeed, but I hope I reach at least one or two a term.

Ain't it the truth? Even if they start out seemingly intelligent and normal, the moment that you have a question they don't like or can't come up with a logical response, they get nasty. Even when you try to help them not be the victim of cloners! (One of them should recognize that.) I've tried over and over and over again, but I'm finished! I didn't want to believe that they were all like that, but apparently they are on here.

Steve, I couldn't agree with you more. I'm not registered with either party, and never vote, because I'm not interested in affiliating with such childish and disingenuous people. It's not just the constituents though; the politicians themselves can be extemely childish, underhanded and self-serving. The political system in this country is a complete joke, and people who throw their support full-on into any political party are simple-minded, in my opinion.

Hmmmmmmm, sounds like you are not listening. Such sweeping comments lead to the gassing of the Jews. If you debate you must educate at the same time. Try teaching not preaching

You are right Steve. When I answer a question, I sometimes fall into the trap myself- and I don't know why. I guess we just want everyone to think exactly like we do, which is crazy.

It is stupid. I've never seen this much infantile behavior ever since I used to go to grammar school.

Well the problem is cons can only engage in name calling. They are a bunch of little sissy men.
