actually, "Jingle Bells" became no longer written as a Christmas music. the author and his acquaintances used to take off with their girlfriends on Sundays, whilst they weren't meant to, and journey around of their sleighs, much like "cruising."

Oh brother! Now one of my kids is terrified, and another one wants me to play it again. My older daughter was saying to me, "Don't play that backwards! Daddy did that one before, and it scares me!" So of course I played it. My 3 yo, on the other hand, loved it.
