According to the US Dept of Labor:
Among all occupations in the economy, computer and healthcare occupations are expected to grow the fastest over the projection period. Here's some of the fast growing jobs for 2004-14:

1) *Network systems and data communication analysts: For systems administrators, many employers seek applicants with bachelor’s degrees, although not necessarily in a computer-related field. Otherwise, you need at least 2 years of college and networking certifications.

2) *Physician assistants: All States require that PAs complete an accredited, formal education program and pass a National exam to obtain a license. PA programs usually last at least 2 years and are full time. Note: Many students who apply to PA programs already have a 4 year degree.

3) *Physical therapist assistants: All States require physical therapists to pass a licensure exam before they can practice, after graduating from an accredited physical therapist educational 4-year college program.

*Computer software engineers
*Dental hygenists
*Database Administrators
*Forensic science technicians
*Veterinary technologists and technicians
*Diagnostic medical sonographers
*Medical scientists
*Occupational therapists and assistants

Good luck!

Accounting, engineering, nursing to name a few... Don't necessarily focus on now.. look out and see what will happen in 10-20 years. Our population is growing old - keep that in mind.
