They are both great players but I think LeBron would win because he is still young.

In a one on one game, LeBron would win because he could just hit 3s all day. But everytime Shaq got the ball he would score because hes massive. If it was make it take it, LeBron would win because. Overall, LeBron is playing better, is in better shape, is quicker, is a better shooter, and in this point in each of these 2 players career, LeBron is better. No disrespect to Shaq, hes one of the best ever, and I have all the respect in the world for the guy, but he isnt the Shaq he used to be. Plus Im a Cavs fan.

GO CAVS!

LeBron James would win just because he could shoot all day outside if shaq didnt guard him and if he came out to guard him, lebron would blow right past shaq and dunk. I think the two playing against each other would be kind of an unfair matchup anyway because after shaq's surgeries he couldnt run with lebron.

Well, from the way you phrased this question,i have no doubt in my mind that the answer is LeBron James. Had you phrased it who would win with both in their prime, i would have to consider it a little more, and then i would probably have to go with Shaq, only because Shaq would always go in and score, while Lebron would have to rely more on the outside game

If you're talking about a one on one game, Lebron would easily win. He's quicker and not small enough to the point where he'd be dominated.

I actually saw the same question on RootZoo.com earlier (but it was shaq vs. wade) but couldn't find the link.

Lebron hands down though.

In a 1v1 game James would outmatch Shaq with his speed.
At the moment and historically I'd rather have Shaq because he's one of the more dominant players in the history of the game. But Lebron is older, and he's pretty good.

U mean 1 on 1? SHAQ is the GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER PLAY BASKETBALL. If it was one on one, they would cancel each other out and. Lebron can beat shaq outisde and shaq can beat lebron inside. But i would go with Shaq cause he wont get as tired going inside the paint as Lebron going outside all over the court

Shaq, because all he would have to do is elbow Lebron in the face and have a clear path to the basket while Lebron would have to rely on skill and quickness which will tire himself out after a while.

even if lebron was 10 years older, he would still win. he could shoot outside. and hes much faster. but once shaq gets the ball and starts doing his backing-down thing, hell win.
ill go with lebron
