well first the perso that knows about this is me i dress totally ghetto first when u see a ghetto persons u will know because they would have a shoelaces as head band also they were brand clothes like babyphat, roca wear, south pole ,etc,, also they were tight but not the tight clothest because u do not want to look like a slut .. and sometimes ghetto gurlz add a little spice to their clothes .. so then people will know who the gurlz are...

Ghetto is a very over used word...but because I am who I am I will answer this question according to what i took it to mean. Dressing ghetto is going over the top with whatever you chose to wear. i don't mean tacky like putting on every color in the rainbow but simply too much clicl on this link for the perfect example

well the 'ghetto' or as i prefer to say, 'street' style can be described many ways.
you have different types of ghetto girls, hood rats, and project chicks.
1. The ones that wear apple bottom jeans, baby phat, ecko red are usually the girls that like to wear tight and midrift bearing clothing. Timberland boots and air forces are a must.
2. theres ones that wear very revealing clothing from all over, wherever they can get it. you know the type, wearing ultra low cut clubbing tops to go grocery shopping.
3. the butch chicks who wear timbs and airforces with sweatsuits all baggy and such.
Ghetto chicks never have a particular hair style, well the butch chicks love them singles and corn rows, but otherwise, all the other chicks are usually keeping their hair in good condition.

At my school, people who are ghetto usually wear brand names like rockawear, baby phat, ecko etc. A lot of them say they shop at d.e.m.o.

Rocawear is good. They have cool clothes that are a little ghetto but still cute. Plus, Jay-Z designs it. :-)
