spring fashion: what are the basics for this season? like flirty dresses, etc?

I am pretty fashionable you could say....But not exactly down with it/
like girls in my school are still caught up in leggings and ballet flats, but umm that was like a half a year ago, i mean i am not superficial in anyway and i think that its cute, but i want to stand out from the covered legged crowd!
what are the basic clothes to get, in order to put a cute outfit together?
keep in mind i am not looking for designer stuff mmk, yeah im quite broke.

The sundress is making the comeback this spring/summer season. There are adorable styles at all different price ranges. Also big floral patterns are a hit! If you are on a budget try places like Old navy or Target. Baby doll tops, layering tanks and tees, and clean light colors are all great basics from season to season. Great tote bags that you can toss some make-up, sunscreen, and a swimsuit in are also a go! Denim never goes out of style, look for sute faded capris that stop just after the knee, with cute detailing at the hem. Nautical/sailing is a popular theme so stripes, fading and sailing themes are in accessories. Like braided rope handles on totes and anchor earrings and necklaces. As for shoes wedges, embelished flip flops and espadrilles are super cute affordable and everywhere! Flats are still cute too and pair with most anything.

Fun, flirty spring floral halter dresses are sooo cute. Put that on with some over sized beads and some wedge lace up sandles. Bright colors are a must. Dark colors are soooo winter and fall. Hair up in a bun or down curled or straight looks cute too. Skirts that 'swish' but are short are realllly cute. Denim in ok. But I think they should stay has caprii's or pants. Short capriis also. Not those long capriis. For purses, try a Target purse. I checked those out and they are supah cute. I recomend Old Navy or Target for your budget. If you want to spludge, go to American Eagle.

I love the lacy look on dresses and shirts. Paired with a cute cami under it is quite flirty and light. Try white shirts with medium washed jeans, it is simply chic and allows you to do more with jewelry or makeup.
I dont know about you, but the local GOODWILL in my town is really nice. They have a ton of REAL designer bags for a really low price. I can spot a knock off from a mile a way and these are totally real. Some of them have scratches or knicks but its totally worth it for the price. Try it!

Old navy has super cute stuff this season. Get the knee length skirts with the pretty prints on them. Babydoll tops are really in right now, and so "stylin" umm wedges, there pretty much amazing lol Wifebeaters are in too, get all different colors and layer them, or not and you can get oldnavy flipflops for wicked cheap and match them with every outfit.
