It depends on the computer. Usually everything is colour coded where they is any ambiguity as to what slot a particular cable goes into - but check the directions that came with the computer.

You read the Users guide and follow the instructions. If you don't, you will not get much out of that system before you have repair issues.

All New p.c.'s come with a "User's giude" i highly suggest
U find it & sit down & read it before U really screw something
important up. Its brand New, try to keep it that way as long as
possible. When U do get it up & running & connected to the
internet, I highly suggest U go to an anti-virus site and make
sure its turned on and working before surfing the net.

Umm did you buy a premade computer or your own parts. If you bought a premade computer then plug it in and it will work. If you bought your own stuff you should have learned/researched how to do it BEFORE buying the parts. Google how to build a computer.

most wires will only fit in their designated ports, and usually if u look closely at the back of ur case, u will see little pictures or writing next to each port telling u what goes there (ex: the mouse port has a little mouse shape next to it, same for the keyboard port, speakers port says sth like 'audio out'...)
plus, new 'pc's also usually come with a user manual, that should be helpful...
