I used to wait on Oak, he's exactly like you'd think...quiet, not mean but a little brusque, and a good tipper as wealthy people really ought to be. I loved it when people tried to fight him.

I was just thinking the other day how much I missed seeing Charles Oakley clean the backboards. The league just isn't the same without him. You just don't appreciate the great ones until there gone. Maybe I can still catch him, and reminisce about his greatness on ESPN Classic if they show an old Bulls or Knicks game.
