You can usually find a rebuilt head for around $300 and another $80 or so for the head kit.

A cracked head is a pretty intensive repair. On a '90 model, it may cost more than the car is worth.

But, if you are babying this old Ciera along, you may want to do the repair.

I would estimate it to be somewhere in the $1000-1500 range. But, I am not a mechanic.

Sorry to tell you this, but you would be better off finding another car.
It is an expensive repair if you have a shop do it.
