no, you don't. the pill prevents you from ovulation, even on the days you're taking the placebo pills when you get your "period". The period you get while on pills is not a period in the truest sense of the word, because there is no ovulation, but rather just a shedding of the uterine lining. this is why it's imperative to resume taking the pill after the 7 day "period" days, because if you wait any longer, you may ovulate.
