could there possibly be a cheat on getting a relationship up?

Yes first type
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
into the cheat box. Next right click on the mailbox an there are a bunch of options on how to better a relationship. Also try right clicking the people for more options.
To turn the cheat off type it the same but take out true and replace it with false.

Ah, one person above had it -nearly- correct.
Now, it all depends on -what- person you are trying to build a reltionship with. Another way, other then what was described above, is to type in:
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
But then, shift+clicking on the person you want to build a relationship with, and clicking -MAKE SELECTABLE-.
If you just click the mailbox and say -make friends with everyone- your phone rings off the hook!
Mildly annoying. >.<
So, after you make that person selectable, go to his/her relationship tab and find your sim. Then, click and drag on the lifetime and everyday relatiionship bars until they are at the desired level. Go to your sim and do the exact same procedure -other then the -MAKE SELECTABLE- click. Afterwasrd, shift+click the other sim to make them -UNSELECTABLE- and make the two sims interact.
If this Sim is already part of your household, forget the shift+click. But! The -boolprop testingcheatsenabled true- will ONLY raise your relationship bars if you typed it in a lot other then your home lot, such as community, or in the neighborhood view. If you just type it in when you are in your home lot, the cheat -will not- work.

There is but it's not a code. You have to buy the Rock Hot Tub that goes outside and sit in it with the Sim you want a relationship with. Let them talk and it's a way to make fast friends.

Uhh.. I don't think theres one for getting relationships up.
You can max their motives by typing 'max motives'
and maybe it'll make them in a better mood to have a relationship..
By the way to get twins (to one of the replies at the top) type in forcetwins and you'll get twins everytime =D

No there isnt- but an easy way to get it up is to use "make out" a lot of times, when playing a women- another easy way is to pretend to b the person your're playing- what would you do in a real relationship is it was failing? that's how i get good relationships
