Who invented American food?

Question

It's really weird how different American food is from other kinds of food, considering that this is the melting pot....why isn't it a combination of all countries foods? And, how can ppl say American food sucks...Americans, besides the Amer. Indians, are really all immigrants, right? So, where does American food come from?

oops guess I should'nt have said Americans are immigrants...what I meant was somewhere along the line they or a family memeber was.

I would say American food used to be a mix of cultural foods as you suggest. However where it really comes from is Capitalism. American food comes from cans and from restaurants. It isn't grown or natural. American food was created to make money.
That is where are menus and ideas of food come from. It is definitely not healthy!

"Native" Americans are not native to this continent at all. DNA testing proves once and for all that Indians are merely Asians who followed the land bridge. (This is why Indians have a mongoloid-shaped, Asian skull and black hair.)

The oldest known remains ever found in both north and south America are that of Kennewick Man, found along the banks of the Columbia River. Kennewick man was white not Indian/Asian.

When the white man arrived for a second time to the Americas they found that the Indian/Asians hadn't yet invented the wheel and regularly practiced cannibalism.

Bar B que comes from 2 different places.On the east coast it was slave food and in the west it came from the Mexican cowboys.A lot of our food is "improved" English,Dutch and German fare but because we have access to better fruits,vegetables and spices,we learned to " Kick it up a Notch!"I'm talking pre - WWII.Now everyone has better food.Being an Anglo born and raised in So. Calif.,I couldn't think of being without authentic Mexican Food,Great Chinese and Thai.Great Italian I can get just about anywhere but Bar-B-Que ,that's totally western to me.No offense Kansas City,and Nashville.America Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from black people. blacks invented the BBQ, soup, chili cause the south was too cold for the slaves, mt. dew, a black cook invented potatoe chips too, but his white boss served them and took credit for it.
