Sorry, the question may sound dumb for some of you but Im' a rookie.

My laptop does have a built-in wireless card. I already connect wirelessly at home, but at home I need the passcode to my network. Do you need a passcode at Starbucks?

I believe you have to set your network ID (SSID) to tmobile Look in your wireless configuration utility, or use the one built into XP and 2000 to find that network id.

do you have a wireless adapter (built in or external). if you do your wireless software should detect the network easily

Prolly gotta have a wireless connecter, otherwise you're doomed.
