i'm writing a story of my life and i used to do ballet. so what do you call the shoes and what you have on. i'm just drawing a blank on this one.

Shoes--shoes

Toe shoes--shoes with hardened boxes in the tips.

Leotard--one piece top and bottom.

Tights--fitted leg hose, usually with a panty.

Leggings--loose, warm coverings for the legs only.

Tutu--little skirt-like apron for dancing.

ballet shoes-you stand on the ball of your foot and the back of your toes

pointe shoes-you stand on the tips of your toes and it HURTS (a.k.a) toe shoes
