How do you play bit torrent files?

I want to play movies but they are in bit torrent format and i do not know how to run them.

you can't play bittorrent files, bittorrent is a program for downloading stuff, works similar to other p2p programs (Ares/Napster/Limewire) only instead of looking for downloads with the p2p program you look for downloads in the internet

there's different bittorrent clients bittornado and Azureus are probably the best ones

download either and install it then find on the internet the "torrent" of the video/music/files you want to download and then download the torrent to your computer

open bittornado/azureus or what ever client you have and then drag the "torrent" to the program window and it'll start downloading

download speed varies depending on the seeds(people that have the file and are sharing) and leechers(people downloading the file)

You can't play it but you can open it with Bit Torrent to download your files and then play it when it's finished downloading.

bittorrent is a sharing service. not a playing program. if you have a bittorrent file, then you used bittorrent to download the file. once the file is fully downloaded, it should have the .avi or other video extention that you need to play it on a viewing program like vlc or media player.

Bittorent files can't be played you have to download them first then you can play them like any regular file.
