Local markets.....after school on the days they are open.....check what hours you are allowed to work though! Ask around local shops like butchers, florists, phone shops, local pubs (clearing tables) etc....get creative!

Well D in this day and age,I know it is sad to say,but I would not recommend a paper round for a young girl. The question is what interests do you have, your question does not state your actual age.If you are 15 years of age why not try a clothing store working at the weekend, somewhere like Next or similar shop or perhaps a shoe outlet.Derek.

Start babysitting get good references and then offer to clean houses and babysit. Once you people know your a reliable good babysitter and house cleaner you have more work then you know what to do with. Try selling things you don't use anymore through ebay or craigslist.org. Once you have a little cash saved buy some more stuff and sell it. You find slowly over time you have a lot more cash then you did before.
Always earn money honestly!

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to
poverty.

You cannot be employed under the age of 16. However excempt vacancies include paper rounds. Maybe delivering your local weekly paper after school would be ideal for you. Apart from that I would suggest dog walking, baby sitting or selling toffee/fudge door to door.

The best thing both my kids did was believe it or not, work at McDonald's. They learned life skills many of their friends haven't like cooperating in the workplace, being on time, how to work under pressure, to be honest and basic work things like money handling, basic cleanig, cooking skills, the list goes on. And future employers do actually acknowledge these skills because of McDonalds work ethics. Some people say its slave labour and that its a joke working there, but if you apply yourself, you are able to advance to other positions like manager, and other areas beside the stores and front counter. My kids havent suffered through this experience - it made them responsible adult employees. Try it!

Get an old wedding gown, tie-dye it pretty pastels, line it with tiny Christmas lights attached to a small battery pack to your leg, make a magic wand and print up simple folded handouts about good dental hygiene, make little drawstring felt bags for baby teeth and be the Tooth Fairy at parties and for brief in-home visits when children lose their first tooth. Leave handouts at all the dentists' offices, pediatrician offices and such. Charge $50 - 75 per visit.

As soon as you turn 16 get a job in a health and fitness club or leisure club as a waiter, reception, Nova or cleaner. Once through the door its easy to work your way up through the departments and finaly you could have a degree in sport working in the gym or lifeguarding. It easy I did it.

Go to your local senior citizen hall and ask if there is any one there needing help cleaning out storage or cabinets or taking out the trash or help doing anything. It is a safe job and they will remember you as long as they live. A good reference on your resume when you start in the real world.

Try being a host at a restaurant. You can work in the afternoon or evening. Shifts are usually not too long either.
