Hmmm well I always wore shin, elbow, hemet, gloves, roller blades in the off season. I guess you'd need to wear like a cup or something. A lot of guys I knew never used to wear the elbow pads but I always did. I would definately make sure you have shin pads because a lot of people like to slash in roller hockey. I have no idea why. Other than that here are some rules to go by: 1. Your not going to be checking so you probably wont need shoulder pads, 2. Every roller hockey rink has a different floor and some can hurt really bad. Remember in roller hockey its harder to stop because there is no ice to dig your blades into. You'll probably be falling on your butt a lot more that you did in ice hockey. 3. Some roller hockey players only have a year or twos experience so there probably will be a lot of falling, and chances or not, you'll be comming down with them. 4. Roller hockey tends to be more lenient on calls, dress accordingly for slashing (mentioned above). Have fun!!!!

well ive seen some street hockey players and they seem to be wearing the exact same thing as ice hockey except for the skates of course. But im not an expert. maybe some other teams dont wear all that.

again when I used to play, it wasn't required. Granted, I very last performed six years in the past formerly an ice hockey damage took me out of the game. i'd say in simple terms placed on the cup, if the coach tells you or you are able to continuously placed on the hip pads. even if it really is roller hockey, which isn't as hard on you as ice hockey, so i doesn't imagine you should favor them.

knee, elbow and maybe a protective vest, depending on how good the other team shoots and if your willing to get in between the goal and the puck.
