If you believe it offers the only true and complete explanation to everything, it's religion.

If you're use logic to draw conclusions from facts, and are willing to change conclusions if facts or your logic turn out to be wrong, it is science.

No. A philosophy is not a religion, but a religion can have a philosophy.

No - it's a way of thinking, rationalising and using language to explore ideas. Religions may involve philisophical issues. Philosophy, as studied, may involve attempting to understand belief systems, including religions.

Often, the two overlap, but philosophy and religion are different.

Religion relies on mysticism. Philosophy relies on logic and reason. Jesus was both a philosopher and a mystic, but that does not mean religion = philosophy.

Apparently if 50 000 people state on a census form that they practice a religion (any) then it becomes officially recognised, although when many people stated that they were JEDI it was discounted (undeservedly so I think).
