I saw a graduate nurse's informal research project long ago in which she found that the taller the truck, the smaller the man owner's penis. For real. The lower the vehicle, the bigger his penis. The noise is just part of that Viagra penile "look at me, look at me" culture, a part of courtship and power acquisition behaviors, and, in many cases a compensatory mechanism related to perceived inferiority of penis size.

Because they are putting on a show, it's entertainment.
