seems like i always start the weekend wanting to get tasks done, but i never get them done. Is this a "create a list" solution?

Make a list that can be accomplished. Don't give yourself way too much to do. Leave time for something you enjoy. Prioritize the list and do the most important thing first. If you don't get the whole list done, then you will have at least finished the most important thing. Don't stress if you don't get it all done. There's always another day, another weekend.

I, too, usually have a huge list of things to do by the time the weekend arrives. I typically will write a list of everything I need or want to get done. If I'm feeling extra tired I will at least try to get some of the smaller tasks done. As I complete them, I cross them off the list. Whatever doesn't get done I try to work on during the week or start on them the following week. It also helps to rank tasks in order of importance or give them a target date. That often helps me determine what needs to be accomplished immediately or what can wait a week or two. Good luck!!

Go ahead and try the list. That would work for me too if I would make the list. No, I never get everything done. Thought it would be easier as I got older, but it hasn't. Good luck and have a good weekend!!

You may need one. Or you can try getting some of these tasks done during the week and keep your weekends free for rest and relaxation. I've tried it and it works. I much rather do all the laundry, house cleaning, bill paying, etc. on Tuesday and then Saturday I treat myself to a home day spa.

I never get everything I want done. I work full time and have 3 kids. I have decided to take on one small project every month. It is more important for me to have a little me time and some time for my kids t han it is to get everything done all the time. Life is too short.

I believe I will get everything done this weekend.
I want to go to the movie theater to sneak into three movies, and shop for a dress for a party that I don't want to go to. If I can manage to avoid going to this party I will have a great weekend.

creating a list won't help much unless you're motivated. But, you should make a list of all the things that you want to do, and beside each thing write why you should do it, what you will get from it, and stuff like that.

68 & don't get every thing done , would love to but it just doesn't happen . . a lot of my time goes to helping my kids & grand kids . I just keep working on things , tomorrow's another day & I'll do more then .
Mom always said ," Don't worry about it , it will be there tomorrow ."

i think so. the only things on my agenda for the weekend are: 1) get my oil changed tomorrow morning, 2) go shopping (especially for a dress for easter), 3) party hard.

yeah, that'll all get done.

I want to get lots of rest. I'm worn out from work, family, all kinds of stuff.

Definately not goign to get it done, though.
