Aloha! ^^ On prior visits to see auntie I've always been satisfied with the variety offered at Rainbows on Kapahulu, and the consistent quality of L&L, but what are some favorite drive-ins of yours that you would recommend?

Don't know, but watch the salads in Hawaii. They have bugs in them..

L & L is really good, but there are two that Richard missed:
BBQ Town in Aina Haina (Little mom and pop shop, but AWESOME chicken katzu)
The Shack (Known for burgers, but great plate lunches)
You can find the Shack in Hawaii Kai, Kailua and a few even on the mainland (i.e. Colorado, California).
Oh, if you do go to the Hawaii Kai Shack, go to Common Groundz right next to it for coffee and dessert. Both are very top-notch.

Hi Bro! I know many plate lunch places. Here is a list of some of the ones I go to all the time. Good Kau Kau (food) at all of these. Big Portions to Bro!
