THINK ABOUT IT.

WATER EXPANDS WHEN IT FREEZES. SO IF ALL THE ICBERGS MELT, THEY WILL SHRINK IN SIZE, THEREFORE CAUSING SEA LEVELS TO DROP. KEEP IN MIND THAT ICEBERGS ARE 99.9% UNDER WATER.

Is this something to ponder? The 70's were full of people talking about the threats of "global cooling." Now everyone worries about "global warming." It's a cycle.

If the ice melts, and the seacoasts are flooded, won't there also be land EXPOSED that is presently under ice - like in Canada, Siberia, and elsewhere?

And don't Siberia and Northern Canada and Alaska have incredible untapped natural resources, thereby reducing our dependence on ME oil?

Wahoo! Save the caribou so the Sheik can eat his caviar tonight!

Water expands very slightly when it freezes. Just like it expands very slightly when its temperature increases significantly.

But you are forgetting about glaciers and land-based iced. The issue is not just the free-floating icebergs that are already displacing water. It's the ice that will become water, and which will add to the total volume of water-and-floating-ice.

But the water currently collected in the ice will join the water in the oceans, hence the water levels will rise.

The loss of volume will be much less than the addition of water.
