You will first have to break down Conservative since there are Knotheadcons, Pinheadcons, and the regular GOP.

"liberal" and "conservative" are LABELS for political ideologies -- neither is better than the other. And in the real world, very few people are actually entirely liberal or entirely conservative. They're ideologies which both have good points and bad points.

Now *people* -- some people can be "better" than others. Those who are honest, reliable, kind, generous, unselfish...I'd say those people are better than those who lie, are unreliable, selfish, mean, etc. You'll find people of all types as members of both of those ideologies.

Try not to be so dogmatic and absolutist...nobody is right all the time, and nobody is wrong all the time. Life is about compromise, and adapting to changing circumstances.

Peace.

I wasn't aware an individual's self-worth is determined by his political affiliation, or anyone else's for that matter. This question seeks an absolute answer, a right or wrong, based upon each individual's value system. This basically means there is no right answer. Do you enjoy stirring up arguments and trouble? What is better than both are independent people who make judments according to their own efforts in understanding an issue.

Both have good points and bad. A balance of the two would be best.
I am not a conservative because I follow their line but because I agree with more of their ideology than the liberal's. I have voted many times for liberal candidates and issues.

Every tool has a purpose for which it is most useful. And people who identify themselves as either liberal or conservative are most definitely tools.

They are the same. One looks at the world one way the other looks at the world another. The radicals seem to see less of the real world than those closer to the center. They are the most vocal and so one gets a bad impression of one or both of them.

Liberal.

...and that is not interchangeable with Democrat, by the way.

The best is a mix between the two. Not everything has to be black and white!
