Is it possible that after all these years of having them tied I could be pregnant?! I would love to be since my boyfriend doesn't have any kids of his own.

How old are you - it could be the perimenopause...?
Go and get a pregnancy test and check it out, if you are not pregnant, then go to the doctor and ask for a hormone level check
Good luck

I would think it could be possible, my step mom had her tubes tied for 4 years and ended up pregnant. My mother is 42 thought she was going through menopause and turned out she was almost 3 months pregnant. So anything is possible. I would go to the doctor to be checked. You could always get your tubes untied.(just a thought)
Good luck.

Yes it is possible, and they don't grow back together either that is not how a tubal ligation is done. I am a surgical tech and work in the OR, I've assisted on many of these procedures and tubes are tied using free ties, or ligatures so if you become pregnant is not because they grew back it's simply because they the ties came loose or came off.

I know 2 people who became pregnant after having their tubes tied. One had twins, 3 years after she had her tubes tied after having another set of twins, and the other it had been 17 years, and the doctor told her later after the baby was born and went to look, that one tube had grown back.

As the others say it could be menopause but that depends on your age.

The chance of pregnancy is very slim when getting your tubes tied but its not always 100% it could be a rare chance that you could be. Try taking a hpt if you think that's the case.

Good Luck

I have a friend who had hers tied for 15 years and then got pregnant! They can grow back together after being tied.

It is possible. I have a friend that had it done and became preganant. She had to have and an abortion though because it was an ectopic pregnancy. You should see a physician to verify that you are or arent. The sooner the better.

Any chance you're starting "the change"? irregular periods are one sign....others are hot flashes, cold sweats, sleeplessness.
