I just had an interview for a part time job. the woman showed me around the place but informed me that i wasn't the only person being interviewed for the posistion. Am I suppose to call them and check, or wait for them to call me?

They should call you, but if they don't you could call them in about one week in order to find out if the position is still open or if they have decided on someone else

Best of Luck

Call them and ask them when they will be concluding their search and making a decision and if you are still being considered for the position, as obviuosly you have other prospects (tell them you liked that job - and don't want to take something else if you are still being considered for that position). They will let you know right there. If you are forced to wait then again, you will have an idea. My advice is dont sit and wait - get more interviews.

Send a thank you note today or tomorrow via email. And if you don't hear anything, it's okay to follow up by the end of next week. But at least give it 5 business days.

If you don't get the job it would be nice for them to send you a letter or leave you a message, but sometimes things like that don't happen, so following up once is just fine.

If she didnt told u how long the process was goin to take, and it had been a couple days, u can call her and her about it. Its normal, specially if u want that job.

Actually companies r not like in the past, before people use to think that call to find out what happened with the results of an interview was wrong, but thanks God its not anymore.

Hope this help u!

:-)

I would wait about 2 days, then if you haven't heard anything give em a call back. Tell them your wondering about the status of the job opening.

Call them and check. The assertive job hunter gets the job more often than someone who sits and waits.

yes you are suppose to call them back and mention your full name and say thank you for the opportunity.

It is best to send them a fruit basket but be sure to leave them your card; that will put your application right on top.
