Well the only way to find out what's wrong is to have both you and your significant other tested. I had these same worries many years ago and went to the doc to get tested. Everything was fine, so I just kept trying. Finally after 2 years of trying I got pregnant, but miscarried. Talk about a bummer. Well 7 months later I got pregnant again, and now I have a healthy 14 month old daughter. I never did use any form of artificial birth control, so these issues come up on either side.

Also they say that if you stress yourself out or concentrate too much on trying to pregnant, that it won't happen. The minute you quick thinking about it so much, it will happen. I know it's hard not to think about it, but you have to try. I'm in a similar situation now. I really want to get pregnant with #2, but it's taking longer than I want it to. I just have faith that it will happen when the time's right.

All in all, if you're really concerned check with the doc and see what you're options are as far as getting some tests done for the both of you. Maybe something can be pin pointed and the problem could be resolved. Good luck to ya.

I, too, was on the depo shot for a year and it took four years for me to get pregnant (having sex on a regular basis). It screws with your hormones, your libido and it can take a year to eighteen months for your body to go back to normal after going off of the shot, depending on how long you were on it.

I was on Depo for 5 years and it took me almost 4 years after that to get pregnant. When your body is ready, you'll know.

The Depo does that to you. It took me almost a year to get pregnant when I was off that too. It may never be the same.

Nothing is wrong with you. I am a man. Do not let any man try to tell you something is wrong with you. That's just how your body is. You can't control it.
