I got a positive result 8 days before my period was due by taking these very early tests I bought on-line. The line was so faint though, so I ended up taking a few more over the next week to be sure.

With an early pregnancy test, you can test 4 to 5 days before your missed period with first morning urine. However you're much, much more likely to get a positive on the day of, or the day after you miss your period with first morning urine.

Always use first morning urine, don't bother wasting the test with mid day urine, you'll just end up taking another one in the morning wondering if it was just because you didn't use FMU.

Read your box that the test came in, it usually tells you when you can. But I would wait until the day of the missed period or a few days after because then you won't get a false negative!!
