so, i was supposed to walk home with my best friend at 12:30 because i didnt have a ride home and no one could come and pick me up until 1:30. so she told me to meet her at her locker. so i waited over there with her boy friend(who was also waiting for her) for like 10 minutes and he said he had to leave, so he did. i left to hang out with my other friends for a few minutes while i waited, so i called her, and she didnt answer. so then my other friends had to leave, and i walked back over to her locker, and she still wasnt there. then she called me and goes"omg you arent at my locker are you?" and i said "uhh yea why" and she goes, "oh well you know how i told you veronica is coming over too? well her dad is giving me and her a ride to my house"and i said "okay well what about me? we were supposed to walk to your house and i dont have a ride." so she goes " i dont know. call someone else"so there i was, no ride and no one to come and get me. she said she feels bad, accept her apology??

Yes eventually. She made a mistake by not giving you a courtesy call when she had made different plans at the last minute. Though it was quite selfish on her part and it was a huge hassle for you to wait for her, you need to move on and put it behind you. No need to stay disappoint for something that happened in a little instance of your life. If she gains a habit of not including you frequently, then that may be a problem.

I would talk to her further about it and stress the importance that you were relying on her. She is your best friend after all. If she understands you aren't going to tolerate her not being reliable in the future, you should accept her apology. However, you should keep in mind (whether you accept her apology or not) that you were put in an unsafe situation and that if she does something like that again, you should seriously rethink the friendship (not only as your best friend, but whether you should consider her a friend at all).

But for now, if she understands where you are coming from and you think she honestly regrets it and wouldn't put you in a similar situation again, than accepting her apology wouldn't be a bad idea.

If she is really your friend you'll have to accept her apology at some point, but see how she acts form now on. Does she do these types of things often? If so she is a very selfish person and you should be aware that you might want to find a better friend.

baby girl Sh-- happens, sure you should be upset -- but overall you should never depend on someone else to do for you -- you have to make a way -- a way that you can depend on. that best friend title is being used out of content here -- friend maybe -- best friend no way -- pick your friends better don't let them pick you. Now wait until 1:30 for that ride -- it's dependable.

Well, I would have to burn my steam for a few days, but that's just me. How do you feel about this problem? Are you still angry? If you are, then just tell her that you need to wait a while so that you can think clearly.
