Just recently, everytime I go to send an e-mail, it asks me to read this special code and enter it in. It is a spam device. Did Yahoo change something recently?

This is something they have had for a while now. I don't get it all the time now just once in a while. At first every email I would send that would popup and was a pain now its random.

It seems to be fairly recent. It keeps robots from sending mail with the web interface. Since most spammers using a phony Yahoo address do not use the Web I don't know for sure how it helps.

go into email options
see if there is anything in there to change
if you don't have a spyware program
