Its sayin on my laptop that there is something wrong with my IP?

Hi,
I think the network is protected with "WEP" or your laptop MAC address is blocked, so check your network setup then try again.

You have to connect to the wireless connection, not to your internet connection because you are recieving the wireless connection from a computer that already has an internet connection. Try deleting the internet connection on your laptop and connecting directly to your wireless connection. Hope I didn't confuse you.

try this
go to controlpanel-network and right-clic your connection, choose properties, and clic on internet protocoll tcp ip, and fill in get a IP automatically.
