I have a boy friend and he is kinda cute but he is a sloppy jean baggy sweatshirt (that he wears everyday) and big shirt dresser. What do I do or say without being mean? I am only in 8th grade!
No it is a baggy zip up with an oversized shirt. Plus it is kind of gross cause he wears the sweatshirt!
We have only been dating 2 days and he asked me! I have no money to buy anything or a ride cause my mom doesnot no. should I tell her?

Yes, tell your mother. She'll probably find out anyways, and it would be better to know from the beginning. Besides, she could always help you out.. she's been there.
It's only been two days, you shouldnt try and change him. Especially his style. If it really bothers you, suggest a shopping trip, and casually say things like "You'd look really good in this".

Ok there are 2 thing to touch on here.
You don't sound that in to that guy. I mean you said yes to date him but you don't like his style. You could attempt to change his style but, are you really into this guy? I mean it sounds like you are finding him physically repulsive. If you aren't into him, its still early yet in the relationship that you can get out of it without it being too messy. After all you are only in the 8th grade. If you are really into him, be honest that you would like to see him in a different look. Or ask him what's the importance of his wearing the same outfit all the time. He may wear baggy clothes because he's self conscience.
Ok, now there's you not telling your mom. If you are really interested in this guy, why didn't you confide in your mom? Granted this may lead to an uncomfortable conversation but you don't want to hide your relationship from your mom. You will eventually end up lying to her, if you keep hiding this relationship. Truth is way easier.

hey yea tell your mom and ask her if there is any way you could raise or help around the house to earn money to buy him some nice clothes.
or take him to the mall and tell him to bring money. so that you can go in the cool stores and he can buy some clothes he likes their.
that way you aren't being mean to him he will just think you want to hang out an go shopping but really he's going to get new and cooler clothes.

ya kno what i'm 14 goin' 2 b a freshman this fall and i dont have a bf wanna kno why b/c last summer i dated a 16 yr old guy behind my moms back then hooked up with him and he turned ou to be a horrible person and he lives next door! also all guys do is pressure for sex i lost my virginity at 12 do u want that to happen to you? it sux *** and u r making a big mistake

You should let him wear what he wants. If you try to be controlling you may end up pushing him away. If it really bothers you, you might not like him as much as you think. He'll probably grow out of the old sweat shirt before you know it!!!

are you asking what to say to him or if you should tell your mom?
well don't date him or not because of what he wears or looks like. its what he wants to do, its not your business just because you've been dating him for 2 days.
in my opinion, your too young to have a boyfriend. especially if you freak out over his baggy clothes. dump him and wait a few years before you get into a "relationship" again. and tell your mom.

You shouldnt be grossed out by your man. If he the way he dresses really affects you that much maybe you dont deserve him. He has the right to be who he wants to be and you dont have the right to change that.
And its up to you to tell your mom or not.
Only you know when you should

dude if you like him than you shouldn't really care what he wears. it's no big deal. don't try and change him, and if you truely liked him for who he was you woulnd't try to (not implying that you don't!) if it really bothers you than just say "hey why not try something new?" help him out, but in a really nice way. don't say "eww, why do you wear that thing everyday?!" don't be to critical. it's only 8th grade!!

well im in 8th grade also and i had the same problum nto to long ago...he wus cute but didnt know how to dress in the way he should...and he wore baggy jackets and shirts that were way too big...the thing is say stuff about how preppy clothes or clothes that fit right r really sexii on boys..and be like u know wut wuld be sexii on u and then tel him be like sum clothes that r prepy but not too preppy andsay to him i love u clothes but maybe u shuld change it up a lil....if u reall ylike him u shuld tel ur mom unless u dotn plan on being with him for all that long...hope i helped

yes you should tell your mom and just nicely say when ur talking to another friend in front of him say ewww you know whats nasty when people where the same sweatshirts everyday ewwwww
